Webauthor Software Products and Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) Privacy Statement
This Privacy Statement covers the privacy practices that Webauthor employs when providing support, consulting, or hosting services to commercial or non-profit entities and/or individual end users through Webauthor’s Internet based applications, software products and Software-as-a-Service solutions (the “Software Offerings”).
You are required to register in order to be granted access to certain information, services and/or products at this Site. At the time of registration, you may be prompted by one of our online forms to provide certain personal information to us, including but not necessarily limited to your name, company name, email address, and/or credit card information used for billing purposes.

You also hereby grant to Webauthor a perpetual, non-cancelable, worldwide, non-exclusive right to utilize any data that arises from the use of this Site (or any other Webauthor or its affiliates’ Software Offerings) by you for any legitimate business purpose, including the right to sublicense such data to third parties, subject to all legal restrictions regarding the use and disclosure of such information. Any such use by Webauthor shall provide only non-personally identifiable data and all data will be aggregated in such a way that it cannot be linked to you or your business entity.
Cookies and Other Information Gathering
When you browse through any website certain information about your visit can be collected. We automatically collect and temporarily store some or all of these types of information about your visit: domain from which you access the Internet; IP address (an IP or internet protocol address is a number that is automatically given to a computer connected to the Web); operating system on your computer; information about the browser you used when visiting the Site; date and time of your visit; pages you visited; address of the website that connected you to our Software Offerings (such as Google.com or Bing.com). From time to time, portions of this Site may allow you to post information, graphics, or images which other visitors to this Site will be able to access (such as on a “blog”, "bulletin board", “webinar”, or during an interactive audio and/or video "chat" with other visitors). In the event that you choose to post information in this context, it becomes generally available to the public, and we have no ability to control or limit its use by visitors to our site. By posting the information on this Site you are providing Webauthor and its affiliates the right to use the information in connection with the operation of Webauthor's business. Therefore, we encourage you not to post any information you consider private or sensitive on this Site.
Webauthor's Site, software and services do not target, and are not structured to attract, children under the age of 13. Webauthor does not collect any registration information from users who indicate they are under the age of 13. If Webauthor discovers personal data from a child, Webauthor will eliminate that data.
Security of Information
To protect the privacy of personal information provided by you, Webauthor and the vendors who may provide hosting services to Webauthor employ industry-standard controls including physical access controls, Internet firewalls, intrusion detection, and network monitoring. Additionally, only authorized administrators and staff have access to systems containing such information. We urge you to take every precaution to protect your personal data when you are on the Internet. Change your passwords often, use a combination of letters and numbers, and make sure you use a secure browser.
Our Software Offerings are designed for users in the United States and Canada. If you access any of our Software Offerings and are a citizen of, or located in, any other country your personal information may be governed by rules or laws that are not known to us. Should that be the case you are prohibited from using our Software Offerings until you have notified us in writing of any such requirements and received a written response from us that we are willing and able to meet those requirements.
